About HeirShares
-
Our mission is to enhance understanding and improve the management of heirs’ property, making it easier for families and organizations to navigate this complex landscape with clarity and confidence.
Heirs’ property issues are often misunderstood, overlooked, or addressed too late. HeirShares exists to change that by making knowledge more accessible, systems more connected, and solutions easier to scale.
-
We believe protecting family land requires more than good intentions.
It requires data, education, and systems designed for scale. That belief shapes everything we build.
Data-Informed
We use land research and data-driven insights to better understand heirs’ property patterns and risks, supporting proactive, informed decision-making.
Education-First
We prioritize clear, accessible education so families and practitioners can understand heirs’ property before a crisis occurs.
Designed for Scale
Our tools, resources, and partnerships are built to support not just individual families, but entire communities and organizations working at scale.
-
HeirShares was founded by experts in data strategy, land research, and heirs’ property education who saw the same pattern repeated across communities:
Families were losing land not because they didn’t care, but because they lacked access to timely information, coordinated support, and clear pathways forward.
Too often, families encountered help only after a crisis had already begun. Meanwhile, organizations supporting landowners were operating with limited data, fragmented tools, and insufficient infrastructure to intervene early.
-
HeirShares is:
A data, technology, and education platform
A resource for learning, preparation, and coordination
A partner to organizations serving landowners
HeirShares is not:
A law firm
A provider of legal advice or legal representation
Our role is to support understanding and preparedness—so families and organizations can take the right next steps with confidence.
